Parking Info

Please view our PARKING MAP

We will have parking attendants on site to direct traffic and show everyone [teams, spectators, officials] where to park. With everyone’s cooperation it will go smoothly, your help is appreciated.

Please remind your group that convenient parking is limited at our facility.  We will have parking attendants directing spectators to where they may/may not park. Spectators will need to be prepared that they may have to walk a distance after parking and to be mindful of the weather.

Please do not park [or loiter] in spaces that are reserved drop off/turn around, marked for neighboring businesses, and/or marked for handicap accessibility.

Team Busses:  we will try to fit as many as possible in the freight yard behind our building [see area H on the parking map].  If we run out of space, your bus driver can drop off your team near the rear entry [it will be marked] and then park the bus.  Teams may use the main or rear entrance [spectators may only enter through the main entrance].  There will be signs.

Per NCHSAA rules, student-athletes should not be driving their own personal vehicles to/from athletic events [this includes scrimmages].  Because we have limited parking space available, we hope that student-athletes will be following these guidelines and leave their personal vehicles at school/home and ride with their team.

Admission

All Spectators: $5, children under 4 FREE [standard for all Wake County athletic events]

Format

Play will begin at 8AM on Saturday, August 11th but not all teams are scheduled in the first round of play. Our doors will open at 7AM for spectators and teams. Team check-in will occur on a rolling basis in our Volleyshop. Teams do not have to report to the gym until thier first match. This event is a timed event, so please make sure you are prompt for all your matches.

High school officials provided.  NCHSAA sanctioned scrimmage. Head coaches will report to their courts promptly and agree on how much time will be dedicated to warmups for each round, with the exception of the 8AM round.

Per NCHSAA regulations, any 'results' cannot be published, recorded or used to determine post season play or published [newspapers, websites, online, etc.].

Food

A Need for Coffee food truck will be onsite serving coffee, smoothies and snacks!

Facility Rules/General Info

Participants ONLY allowed on court.

Videotaping is permitted but you may not set up tripods to film, monopods are allowed.  Videographers must remain off court in designated spectator areas.

We do not allow coolers, chairs or tables inside our facility due to limited space.  Bleachers/seating will be available court side for spectators.  Please relinquish your seat when your team is done playing so another group of spectators may watch their team play.

Teams are welcome to bring tents, tables and chairs and set up 'camp' in the grassy areas outside our facility. No grills or camp fires or open flames of any kind are allowed.

Cubbies are available for athletes to store their belongings. Team areas for athletes to relax between segments will also be available [athletes are welcome to eat in this area].

Each team will need to provide their own tape, pre-wrap and medical supplies. We will have a trainer on-site from 7:30AM-3:30PM for emergencies.

Our facility is air-conditioned; however, you will still want to remind your student-athletes to drink plenty of fluids during the event and even prior to Saturday. We will provide coolers with Gatorade for teams in attendance.

There will be complimentary coffee and bagels provided for coaches and officials in the morning.
