Emery McGee

McGee is originally from Wilmington and joined Triangle in 2013. She played club for Wilmington Elite (formerly Brunswick Juniors) and was a standout athlete at Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington. While in high school McGee earned all-conference honors as a junior and senior and was named team MVP her senior year.

McGee played as a DS/L for the Avenging Angels at Meredith College where she helped the team claim its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III National Championship. McGee earned all-academic honors and was selected as USA South Defensive Player of the Week her freshman year. Her sophomore season Meredith won the USA South-North Division Regular Season Championship with McGee leading the team with 383 digs and again earning all-academic Honors. McGee led the Angels in digs her sophomore year, ranking 11th in the USA South Conference with 409 digs. 

McGee graduated from Meredith in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. She works at Voith Paper in the human resources department. She designs and sells custom jewelry for her company, 32 North.
