Favreau joined Triangle in 2017 after moving from California to serve as the volunteer assistant coach at Duke University. The Orange County native attended Servite High School and played as the starting setter for three years, leading his team to a fifth place national ranking in 2012. He also played club volleyball for six years at some of the most successful boys clubs in the nation (High Line, The HBC, Balboa Bay). Favreau graduated from UCLA, where he played on the men's club team, in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in political science.
Favreau's coaching experience includes four years with Sunshine Volleyball Club, coaching in the 13s, 16s, 17s, and 18s age groups. He coached at Marymount High School for three years as the freshman head coach, JV head coach, and varsity assistant coach, and he spent one year as the boys varsity head coach at American Martyrs School.
