Tonya Holmes

Holmes hails from Florida where she played high school volleyball and one year at Savannah State University before transferring to the University of Central Florida. At UCF Holmes played club volleyball and coached at Orlando Volleyball Association (OVA). Holmes has a bachelor's degree in history and previously served as varsity head coach and assistant athletic director at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. Holmes joined Triangle in 2011 and has served as an assistant coach at the 14s, 16s, 17s, and 18s age groups.

Holmes lives in Chapel Hill and is the director of operations of Granville Towers at UNC Chapel Hill.
