Phillips is a Triangle alum who played for the club as a setter from 2014 through 2018. She completed her prep career at Sanderson High School, where she earned Academic-All Conference honors and Honorable Mention All-CAP 7 and MVP honors her senior year. In 2017, she was a member of 17 White team who finished 2nd in the American division at the Northeast Qualifier.
While a student-athlete at Triangle and during the first few years of college, Phillips worked Triangle summer camps (2016-2020). Most recently she began coaching as a Resource coach and Assistant coach.
Phillips attended UNC Chapel Hill where she played on the UNC Women’s Club Volleyball team all four years. She served as the co-President for two seasons planning team practices, organizing tournaments, and performing other administrative duties for the club. Phillips graduated from UNC in 2022 with a B.A. in Sports Administration and she currently works at Wasserman as a Brand Manager.
