Team Competitive Levels:

  • Girls Regional – Usually offered for ages 11u-12s, these teams generally compete in the East Division of the Carolina Region and have no overnight travel tournaments. Season ends late March/early April.
  • Girls Regional Plus – Usually offered for girls ages 11-13s, these teams compete in the Carolina Region, as well as, at least two out of region travel tournaments. Season ends late March/early April.
  • Girls National Select – Usually offered for girls ages 11-15s, these teams compete both within North Carolina and out of state on a lighter schedule than that of Triangle National teams. Season ends at AAU Junior Nationals in Orlando.
  • Girls National – this is the most competitive team level, usually offered for ages 12-18. National teams compete in several major National Qualifying events, out of region tournaments and travel extensively. National teams end their season mid-June through early July depending on age. The team’s final competition will be either AAU Junior National Championships or USAV Junior National Championships depending on qualification.
  • Boys teams – With the growth of boys volleyball being fairly dynamic, we explore market demand to best determine team competitive levels. Depending on the tryout interest we will expect to have a combination of National, National Select, Regional Plus and Regional teams.
