A Cary, North Carolina native, O’Connor played club volleyball from the 13U through 17U age levels and was a four-year varsity player throughout her high school career. During her senior year, she began her coaching career by leading a 13U club team while continuing to compete as a varsity athlete.
She begins her first season with Triangle after several years of experience both as a player and coach within the club volleyball community.
Outside of volleyball, O’Connor is a Senior Data Security Engineer at MetLife, where she has worked since graduating from the University of North Carolina. As a member of the company’s cybersecurity team, she specializes in internal data loss prevention.
