Cameron Brence

 

Brence is originally from Lewisville, NC and has deep roots in volleyball (mom played, dad is a collegiate official). During high school he played boys club volleyball at Carolina Union (CUVC) for three seasons. He attended NC State where he both coached and played on the Wolfpack Men’s Club volleyball team (2016-2020). During his time at NC State, he worked as a practice player for the women Wolfpack and worked with the NC State Women’s Volleyball Summer camp program.

Brence graduated NC State in 2020 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He began coaching club at CHAVC, working primarily with girls’ 17 Black and 18 Black. In 2022, he helped lead CHAVC 17 Black to a 17 Open qualification for USAV Girls’ Junior Nationals.

Brence is primarily a libero/defensive specialist and remains very active on the indoor and outdoor adult scene.

Brence lives in Raleigh with his wife and works as a structural engineer for a local consulting firm.
