Bunting-Herzog returns to Triangle, where she played for one season at the 16s age level. A setter from Wilmington, North Carolina, she competed for Hoggard High School and several clubs throughout the coastal region.
Bunting-Herzog earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Literature from NYU. During her time in New York City, she coached at Brooklyn Elite, working extensively with the club’s setters while coaching teams at the 14s and 15s age levels.
She later attended Indiana University, where she earned her Juris Doctor. While in Indiana, she coached at The Academy Volleyball Club with 14s and 17s teams and also spent a season at BTown Volleyball Club as a resource coach and technical setting coach.
Following her graduation from Indiana University, Bunting-Herzog joined the women’s volleyball staff at Marymount University as an assistant coach. During her tenure, the Saints captured a conference championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.
Bunting-Herzog resides in Raleigh and serves as an Equal Opportunity Officer at NC State University.
