Cross (Sartori) is originally from Raleigh. She attended Cardinal Gibbons High School and played a few seasons of club at Triangle before briefly coaching with Triangle’s youth program. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Cross moved to the DC Metro area to begin her career in public relations. Cross is a communications professional with a proven track-record of engineering messaging from tested and analytically proven language to advance executive thought leadership, membership communications, and advocacy work. Her expertise is in leading strategic communications efforts across teams and helping organizations spread messaging through internal communication channels, targeted social media campaigns, and traditional media outreach. Cross currently serves as Director, Strategic Communications at Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America. Her wealth of experience in all areas of communications including event planning, fundraising, social media and strategic positioning will be instrumental in helping guide Triangle into the next decade.
