Clara Vondran

Vondran is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and comes from a family deeply involved in volleyball. Her parents own Greater Columbus Volleyball Club, where she grew up in the gym and gained experience working with athletes ranging from 12-and-under through 18-and-under. She has played volleyball at NC State and is entering her senior season with the Wolfpack.

Vondran currently serves as a Competitive Club Assistant Coach, helping with practices, drills, and player development across multiple age groups. She has also spent time assisting with her family’s club program in Ohio, giving her experience working with both younger athletes and high-level club players.

Vondran is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science at NC State, with a concentration in Animal Science and Horticulture. As a coach, her goal is to create a healthy and fun environment where young athletes can learn to love volleyball while using her own experiences—both positive and challenging—to help them grow on and off the court.
