Stevens joins Triangle after beginning his collegiate coaching career at the University of North Carolina, where he served as an assistant coach for the Tar Heels women’s volleyball program from 2023-2025. He brings a passion for player development and a valuable blend of playing and coaching experience to his work with Triangle athletes.
A native of Ohio, Stevens graduated from The Ohio State University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. During his playing career, he was a four-year outside hitter for the Buckeyes men’s volleyball program from 2020-2023 and served as team captain. Stevens helped lead Ohio State in competition while earning recognition for his excellence in the classroom, including honors as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, Ohio State Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-Big Ten selection, and MIVA Academic All-Conference honoree.
Stevens currently works for Bolton and Menk, an engineering firm in downtown Raleigh.
