Comstock grew up in Ames, Iowa, where her love for volleyball began at an early age. She played throughout middle and high school and competed in club volleyball, developing a strong foundation in the game and a particular appreciation for defensive play.
Her passion for working with young athletes eventually brought her back to the court as a coach. She began coaching recreational volleyball with the Town of Apex before expanding into competitive club and school volleyball. Comstock currently serves as Head Coach of the Girls JV Volleyball program at Grace Christian School in Raleigh, where she focuses on developing fundamentals, volleyball IQ, confidence, discipline, and a positive team culture. Her coaching experience spans multiple age groups, with a particular passion for developing Defensive Specialists and Liberos.
Outside of volleyball, Comstock is an accomplished small business owner with more than a decade of experience operating a local insurance agency in the Raleigh area. She brings the leadership, communication, organization, and relationship-building skills developed throughout her professional career into her approach to coaching and athlete development.
Comstock lives in Apex with her daughter and is passionate about continuing to grow within the volleyball community while helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game both on and off the court.
