Rivera grew up playing at Triangle Volleyball, where he spent five years developing his skills primarily as an outside hitter and libero. He went on to compete at Wabash College for two seasons as a libero, earning MCVL All-Academic honors in 2022 and being named to the 2023 Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar First Team for men’s volleyball.
Rivera earned his B.A. in Psychology from Wabash College (2025) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Management Studies at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He lives in North Raleigh with his parents and younger brother.
