Fuhr returns to Triangle where she played six seasons. A prep standout at South Granville HS, Fuhr helped her team to the finals of the 2A NCHSAA State Championship in 2014. The following year, Fuhr led her team to capture the 2A NCHSAA State Championship and earned MVP honors. She earned All-Conference honors and set school records her senior season for sets played, digs, and kills.
Fuhr and Triangle 17 Black qualified Open for USAV Girls’ Junior Nationals with T5 finishes at both the Northeast and Big South Qualifiers. Fuhr was recruited as a Setter/DS to The Citadel where she was an impact Freshman playing in every set her first season and leading the team in assists with 640. Fuhr played in every match both her sophomore and junior seasons amassing 2,610 assists, fourth all-time in program history.
Fuhr graduated The Citadel in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Sciences. She works as a Clinical Trials Associate at an RTP firm.
