THE CAROLINA CROWN has been designated a JVA Challenge Series Event for Boys!

Held February 27–28, 2027, the Carolina Crown is the perfect event for boys’ teams looking to finish their ‘early’ competitive season strong before the traditional high school season break.

A Premier Downtown Tournament Experience

THE CAROLINA CROWN is held at the beautiful Raleigh Convention Center, making it one of the few JVA Challenge Series events for boys hosted in a downtown convention center. Teams and families enjoy a premier tournament experience with hotels, restaurants, entertainment and other downtown amenities all within walking distance.

On the court, the CROWN delivers high-energy matchups, elite-level competition and an unforgettable competitive atmosphere. Courts designated for OPEN division play feature extended service zones, while JVA insurance allows participation from JVA, AAU and USAV teams, making the Carolina Crown a must-attend event for boys’ volleyball.

And there’s more: cash prizes will be awarded to division champions in divisions with 12 or more participating teams.

What is the JVA Challenge Series?

The JVA Challenge Series showcases some of the best junior volleyball tournaments nationwide. Challenge Series Tournament Directors are committed to providing high-quality events and agree to specific JVA standards and requirements designed to ensure an exceptional experience for athletes, coaches and families.

We are thrilled to bring the Carolina Crown to the JVA Challenge Series and look forward to welcoming boys’ teams from across the country to Raleigh in February!
