Team will head back to Columbus for National Championship

With a 5th place finish and overall 5-3 record, Triangle 18 Black captured the prized Open division bid to USAV Girls' Junior Nationals. The bid was secured after the team went undefeated in day 1 pool play and followed up on day 2 with a critcal victory over perennial powerhouse, 1st Alliance (Chicago). The team landed in a must win 5th place face off o day 3 against North Carolina opponent Carolina Union VBC (Charlotte). Triangle defeated CUVC 18 Titan in straight sets (25-17, 25-23) to secure one of only 36 Open bids to the national championship event held in Columbus April 28-30.
