Aaron Harrison

Harrison is originally from Sharpsville, Indiana and moved to North Carolina from Florida where he previously coached for the nationally-recognized Orlando-Tampa Volleyball Academy [OTVA]. 

Harrison’s coaching career began at Asics Munciana Volleyball Club where he served as both a team coach and Recruiting Director for five years. While at Munciana he also was an assistant coach at Taylor University during the 2010 season helping the team earn a top 10 finish at the NAIA National Championship. Harrison also spent three years at Pinellas Heat (Florida) as the Advanced Development Coach while also leading their Recruiting Program.

Harrison graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in 2007 and went on to earn his Master’s in Information and Communication Sciences from Ball State in 2008. He currently works at Cisco in RTP. Harrison and his wife, Hannah have two daughters, Emerson and Everly.


  • Led OTVA 18-1 teams for three seasons earning a T-9 finish in 18 Open at the 2018 USAV Jr. National Championships and a 17th place finish in 2019.
  • Named USAV Florida Region Outstanding Junior's Coach (17U-18U) in 2015.
  • Guided 27 athletes to Division I programs in the past 5 years, including Penn State, Nebraska and Kentucky.
  • Led Munciana 18 Skyhawks to a 3rd place finish at AAUs in 18 Club in 2011 and 2012.
  • Worked as an assistant coach at Taylor University (NAIA), where he helped the Trojans to a top 10 National Championship finish.
