Brendan Koslowsky

Koslowsky joined Triangle in 2013 and has served as an assistant coach in the 15s, 17s, and 18s age groups. In 2015 Koslowsky was an assistant coach of 17 Blue, which finished 12th in the Premier Division at AAU Junior Nationals. In 2016 he helped lead 17 Black to qualify in Open for USAV Junior Nationals, and in 2017 he helped guide 18 White toward a third-place finish in the Club Division at the JVA World Challenge. Most recently, he served as the assistant coach for 18 Blue in 2020 and helped them to three top ten finishes at national tournaments, including a T9 finish at the Northeast Qualifier in Baltimore.

Koslowsky holds a bachelor's degree in construction engineering and management from NC State and currently works for commercial general contractor Williams Realty & Building Company as a project mananger. He played on the NC State men’s club team for two years and helped lead them to back-to-back second-place finishes at the NCVF National Tournament in 2012 and 2013. Koslowsky has been playing volleyball since seventh grade and continues to play both locally and nationally. 

Koslowsky and his family moved to Raleigh from Canada in 2007.

SIGNIFICANT COACHING ACCOMPLISHMENT:

  • Koslowsky served as the assistant coach for 18 Blue in 2020 and helped them to three top ten finishes at national tournaments, including a T9 finish at the Northeast Qualifier in Baltimore. He also mentored seven future collegiate athletes on the 18 Blue squad.
  • Assisted 2016 Triangle 17 Black to qualify in Open for USAV Junior Nationals with a top finish at the Lone Star Classic.
  • Worked with 18 White in 2017 and earned a third-place finish in the Club Division at the prestigious JVA World Challenge.
  • Finished in 12th place in the Premier Division at AAU Junior Nationals in 2015 with 17 Blue.
