Brian Bacchi

Bacchi joined the Triangle staff in 2013. He played Division III volleyball at Vassar College from 2005-2009, seeing time both as a Middle Blocker and an Opposite. His team finished as runner-up in the Division III Championship in 2008.

While he has primarily served as a head coach for the 15’s age group, Bacchi has resourced across all levels at Triangle. He also served as an assistant coach for the JV and Varsity teams at Cardinal Gibbons High School from 2017-2019. In 2017, he led Triangle's 15 Steel team to a first-place finish in the Club Division at Capitol Hill Classic. For his diligence and passionate approach to coaching, he was awarded the 2018 Sam Casey Caram Excellence in Coaching Award.

Originally from New York, Bacchi relocated to North Carolina to complete his Master's Degree at UNC Chapel Hill. He started working as a Speech Language Pathologist at Duke Hospital in 2015 and has worked there since, primarily with adults in the inpatient setting. Bacchi currently resides in Durham with his wife, Amanda.
