Brian Bacchi

Bacchi joined the Triangle staff in 2013. White he has primarily served as ahead coach in the 14-16's age group, he has participated as a resource coach across all age groups in the club. During the 2017 season, as the head coach of 15 Steel, he led his team to the championship of the Club Division at Capitol Hill Classic. For his diligence and passionate approach to coaching, Bacchi was the recipient of the 2018 Sam Casey Caram Excellence in Coaching Award. Most recently, he served as the Head Coach for 15 White.  Bacchi has also served as an assistant coach for the JV and Varsity teams at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh since 2017.

Originally from New York, Bacchi played Division III volleyball at Vassar College, seeing time both as a Middle Blocker and an Opposite. In 2008, his team finished as runner-up in the Molten Division III Championship. He relocated to North Carolina to complete his Master's Degree at UNC Chapel Hill and he currently resides in Durham with his wife, Amanda, and works as a speech-language pathologist at Duke Hospital.
