Brittany Cabaleiro

Cabaleiro rejoins Triangle, having been a member of Triangle's coaching staff from 2009 through 2013. She served as an assistant on numerous 14s teams including 14 Black.

Cabaleiro (formerly Rusin) played four years at Apex HS and played club at NC Challengers. For the Apex Cougars, Cabaleiro earned Tri-Seven Conference Player of the Year honors and helped lead the squad to three consecutive Tri-Seven Conference Championship titles. She was recruited to Campbell University where she played middle blocker for the Camels all four years. She was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Academic Team both her sophomore and junior years. Her junior year she ranked 5th all-time in both career blocks and career block-assists.

Cabaleiro graduated Campbell in 2007 with a degree in Elementary Education. She continued at Campbell to pursue a Masters in Elementary Education with an AIG education certification (2011). She is currently serving as a second grade teacher at Olive Chapel Elementary in Wake County. 

Cabaleiro and her husband, Danny, live in Holly Springs with their children Jackson and Campbell.
