Grant Kaestner '19
Kaestner is a Triangle alum, having played three seasons on Triangle 18U Boys. As an adept middle blocker, he was recognized as Triangle's first member of the "11 Foot Club", ultimately achieving an approach touch of 11'8". Kaestner was also active in the USA Volleyball Boys High Performance program. During his club career, he received both the Iron Triangle award for dedication to fitness and the Triangle award for Triangle 18U Boys.
Kaestner was recruited to play at Lees-McRae and later opted to attend vocational school at Durham Technical Community College where he is studying to be an automotive technician. He is an avid outdoorsman and has worked with youth throughout his high school years coaching tennis and serving as a camp counselor.
