Jessi Bartholomew

Bartholomew, an Atlanta-area native, was an outside hitter for the Duke Women's Volleyball team. Bartholomew was a senior captain for the Blue Devils and a four-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree. Bartholomew played high school volleyball at East Coweta High School in Sharpsburg, Georgia for coach Amber McClure, where she was named an Under Armour High School All-America selection and the Georgia 6A State Player of the Year.

Bartholomew first gained coaching experience while at Duke working Blue Devil summer camps. She has also coached at the club level on college breaks as a alumni coach at camps and clinics at A5 and A5 South (her prior clubs). In 2020, Bartholomew served as an assistant coach on Triangle 17 White.

Bartholomew graduated Duke in 2019 with a BA in Psychology. She currently resides in Durham, where she enjoys traveling and cooking in her spare time.


  • Bartholomew competed at ACC powerhouse Duke University, where she was an outside/rightside hitter for the Blue Devils. She served as a senior captain and was a four-time ACC-Academic Honor Roll honoree. She was named the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week on Nov. 11, 2017 after putting down 25 kills to lead Duke to a 2-0 weekend.
  • Played club volleyball at A5 and A5 South, where she helped her club team an Open bid and a top 15 finish at USAV Junior Nationals her senior year of club.
  • Named the Georgia 6A State Player of the Year as a senior at East Coweta High School. She was also an Under Armour High School All-America selection and participated in the 2014 Under Armour All-America Match on the East squad.
