Jona Plevin

Plevin joins Triangle after moving to the triangle area from San Diego in August 2019. She played primarily as a middle blocker and right side attacker and won three (3) consecutive California State Championship titles with Francis Parker School. She served as captain her senior year and played club volleyball since being 13 years old at perennial SoCal powerhouse clubs Wave and Coast. Upon high school graduation she attend Carleton College (Division III) in Northfield, MN and played for four years, serving as team captain in 2018. While at Carleton Plevin served as a conference representative on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Plevin is an avid beach volleyball player on the recreationally scene and has also served as an ocean lifeguard in San Diego. Plevin graduated Carleton College with a B.A. in Biology and is currently working as a lab technician in the Immunology department at Duke University Medical Center.
