Keisha Demps

Demps, a native of Antioch, CA,  joined the Triangle staff in 2014, bringing a wealth of volleyball coaching knowledge coupled with extensive playing experience. She excelled as a middle blocker for the University of Arizona (Class of 1998), earning All PAC-10 honors, and was also a member of the Wildcats basketball team. Demps went on to play in the United States Professional League from 1999-2000, while also serving as promotions assistant for the league. She was selected as a middle blocker on the U.S. Dream Team and helped the team win the 2000 Millennium Cup. Demps began her coaching career with the University of Nevada and the St. Louis Quest professional team before moving on to Boise State. After serving as the assistant coach for the Broncos for three years, Demps and her family moved to Raleigh where Demps became the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at NC State.  

During her time at NC State and afterward, Demps coached club volleyball for NC Challengers and Club Red. While at Club Red she coached 14 Red and served as the assistant director and parent liaison. Demps has served predominantly as an 18's head coach in her time at Triangle, most recently as the Head Coach for 18 White, leading her team to Gold bracket finishes at multiple qualifers. Her background in coaching and recruiting has been an asset to her teams as well, allowing her to help athletes along in their decision making process. 

Demps currently resides in Raleigh with husband Thomas, daughter Jade and son Thomas aka "Peanut".
