Lauren Bewick

Bewick, a North Carolina native from Winterville, joins Triangle with collegiate playing and coaching experience. Bewick attended D.H. Conley high school earning Defensive Player of the Year honors both her junior and senior prep seasons. She was named All-Conference her senior year and also played club for East Carolina Juniors (ECJVC).

Bewick was recruited to Campbell University and played for two seasons before transferring to East Carolina. At Campbell, Bewick played in all matches her freshman and sophomore seasons tallying the second-highest dig total for the Camels. At ECU, Bewick appeared in 61 matches as both a DS and Libero. She totaled 49 assista and 32 service aces during her junior and senior seasons while averaging 2.01 digs per set. Bewick graduated ECU in 2016 with a degree in Psychology.

Bewick went on to Lehigh University to study for a master’s degree in educational leadership/administration. While at Lehigh she served as the graduate assistant coach for the Mountain Hawks under Head Coach Bob Bertucci. After graduating Lehigh Bewick served as the Director of Volleyball Operations at Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ). While there Bewick as served as the Head Varsity Coach at Cactus Shadows High School (Cave Creek, AZ)

Bewick's club coaching career began at ECJVC and also included one season at NC Volleyball Academy (18 Diamond).

Bewick is currently a special education teacher at Panther Creek high school and also serves as the Head Volleyball Coach.
