Nan Parrish '18

Parrish returns to Triangle as a coaching staff member starting with the 2020-2021 club season, following an eight-year career at Triangle as a student-athlete. She competed on the Triangle 18 Blue squad that qualified for USAV 18s Nationals in 18 USA Division after finishing in third place at the Northeast Qualifier. She also played high school volleyball at Broughton High School, helping the Capitals to the 3rd and 4th round of the playoffs in her final two seasons. She was an Honorable Mention All-CAP 7 performer and an Academic All-Conference honoree.

After graduating high school, Parrish continued her playing career for two seasons at the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, where she was named the Most Improved Player for the 2018 season. In 2020, Parrish transferred to NC State to be closer to family, and she is now majoring in Communications with a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Parrish’s coaching experience began at Triangle where she worked summer camps for three summers and served as a Student Resource Coach in 2018. She was the Director of Volleyball Summer Camps at Saint Mary’s School in 2019 and will be the Broughton High School Varsity Assistant Coach for the 2020 season.
