Ozzie (Osvaldo) Fernandez

Fernandez is from Fort Lauderdale and has played volleyball for the majority of his life. He played four years of boys' high school volleyball at Archbishop McCarthy HS where he helped lead the Mavericks to the FHSAA Boy's State Championship in 2016. He also played boys' club volleyball beginning at age 14 through 18s.

Fernandez pursued his academic interests at University of Central Florida while also participating in UCF's Men's Club Volleyball. During his time, UCF placed top 16 three times and top 8 one year in the Open division of club nationals. Fernandez graduated from UCF in 2020 with a BS in Computer Science.

Fernandez became interested in coaching while at UCF when he began working with the UCF Women's Club Volleyball team.

Fernandez lives in Apex and works for Google.
