Ramsey joined the Triangle staff in 2020 following an outstanding playing career at the prep, collegiate and international stage. She played at Triangle for three seasons as a pin attacker and helped her 2012 17 Black finish 11th in 17 Open at the USAV Girls' Junior National Championships. She also starred at Chapel Hill High School, and garnered numerous awards including three-time All Conference, two-time News & Observer All-Metro Player, three-time All-Academic honors, and 2012 Max Preps Player of the Year. Her senior season she was named captain for CHHS and was named 2013 Big Eight Conference Player of the Year.

Following her distinguished prep career, Ramsey competed collegiately at NC State where she was an immediate contributor on the outside. She started in 22 matches as a freshman for NCSU and finished third on the squad in kills her first season. Over the course of her career, she averaged 2.02 kills/set for the Wolfpack, 1.44 digs/set and earned two different All-Tournament honors [UGA Invitational, 2014 and TCU Invitational, 2016]. She also helped NC State earn its first-ever NCAA Tournament victory, when it reached the second round of the by defeating Oregon State 3-2 in Austin, Texas. Her career in Raleigh was cutshort by a season ending injury, which allowed her to transfer to Gonzaga for her redshirt senior season and pursue a graduate degree business administration. While with the Bulldogs, Ramsey played in 23 matches, averaged 1.53 kills/set and posted her season-highs of 20 kills and 11 digs in a win against Cal. 

After completing her collegiate eligibilty, Ramsey turned pro and signed a contract with Nurmo Jymy in Finland, where she continued to play as an all-around attacker at the international level. She returned to North Carolina following the cancellation of her professional season, and is finishing her MBA remotely while working work as a Project Analyst at PRA Health Sciences.
