Case hails from Lakeville, Minnesota where she began her club volleyball career at nationally renown Northern Lights at the age of 11. Case, a setter, was a four-year letter winner at Lakeville HS. Both her junior and senior seasons she was named First Team South Suburban All-Conference. Her junior year she earned First Team All-State honors, set the school record for assists and services, and helped her team to a third-place finish at the state championships (overall record 35-4).

At 15s, Case moved to national powerhouse M1 for club where she played through her 18s season. In her final season of club Case and her teammates on Mizuno M1 181 earned a 5th place finish at USAV Girls' 18s National Championships in Anaheim.

Case was recruited to play at University of Nebraska-Omaha (DI) where she appeared in all 29 matches with 27 as the starting setter. She led the Summit League in assists tallying 1,233 her freshman season. She was named Summit League Setter of the Year, All-Summit and All-Freshman team. Case transferred to Eckerd College (DII) in Florida where where she earned Second-Team CCA All-South Region and also played one season of beach.

Case transferred to the College of Wooster (DIII, OH) to pursue her degree in Environmental GeoScience. At Wooster, Case earned All NCAC First-Team honors, CoSIDA All American First Team and All-District honors. She earned her BA in Enviromental GeoScience and was selected as a recipient of the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. Her pursuit of a Masters degree in Natural Resources Mangement brought her to Raleigh.

Case began coaching as a student-athlete apprentice coach at M1 VBC. She coached club at Vital Volleyball Club in Minnesota assisting their 18-1 team. She also returned to her HS alma mater to coach one season of prep volleyball. Most recently, Case was a student coach for one year at College of Wooster.

Case will be coaching at Apex Friendship upon her arrival in Raleigh.
