COVID-19 Tournament/Event Protocols

We are excited to host events at our Wake Competition Center state-of-the-art facility. With a high capacity ventilation system and oversized, high performance courts we can provide a superior and safe competitive experience.

Using appropriate event formats and extensive cleaning and sanitizing protocols, Triangle can operate events during this time and provide a positive youth sport experience while also limiting the transmission of COVID-19. As we set to prepare our event protocols, we have carefully and thoroughly reviewed the recommendations of the CDC, USA Volleyball, Carolina Region, and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. We also are in contact with the Governor's office to ensure we are acting in concert with the Executive Orders issued by Governor Roy Cooper.

If you are attending an event at Triangle, please review our pandemic operations guide by clicking on the link below. Please know that public health information is ever-changing and that the state of the pandemic could be improving or worsening at any given time. For those reasons, this guide will change as needed and it is wise to check it again just prior to attending your event.

PRIMARY CONSIDERATIONS AT THIS TIME:

  • we require masking of all participants, including athletes WHILE playing
  • we are NOT allowing spectators given the restrictions set forth for indoor activities including youth sports. We are allowing each team to have one videographer present that can be a team parent.

Thank you and we look forward to hosting your team soon. Stay safe and well, Triangle Volleyball Club.
