2nd Annual City of Oaks Challenge a Huge Success

The 2nd Annual City of Oaks Challenge was held at the Raleigh Convention Center, January 14-16, 2017.  The City of Oaks Challenge welcomed 177 teams to Raleigh, NC during MLK weekend.  Along with teams, parents and spectators over 50 college recruiters were in attendance during the first official weekend of the 2017 recruiting season.  Downtown Raleigh played host to teams from along the eastern seaboard and as far as Puerto Rico.  
Since its first year the City of Oaks Challenge has grown from 147 to 177 teams on 25 courts.  The growth and popularity of the event would not be possible without the support of the City of Oaks Challenge sponsors – Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance, Molten and the Carolina Region, along with numerous volunteers and tournament staff.
