Patterson is originally from Michigan where she was a four-year Varsity starting setter for Waverly High School. She earned both All District and All Academic honors during her prep career. She played three seasons of club volleyball at Attack Volleyball Club. Patterson attended the University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Meeting and Event Planning. While at UCF she competed on the Women’s UCF Club volleyball team and served as captain. While living in Texas, Patterson began coaching at Slam Volleyball Club (NT) where she served as an assistant coach for their 14-1, 15-1, and 16-1 teams. She also served as a club setting coach and supported club administration with social media, fundraising, and travel coordination. Patterson is a manager at OnLocation where she plans and coordinates travel experiences for the Olympics and Paralympics.
