Pitt hails from Farmville, North Carolina and was a two-sport athlete throughout high school. In her four years at Farmville Central HS where Pitt played both as a middle blocker and setter Pitt totaled 1,180 kills, 406 blocks, 156 aces, 138 assists and 103 digs. She guided Jaquars to four straight conference titles with three of those four seasons featuring 20 or more wins. Pitt was a four-time All-Eastern Plains honoree and earned conference player of the year twice. Pitt also competed in track and field where she was a two-time Region IV high jump champion, who went on to finish 13th (2011) and 9th (2012) in the state championship. Pitt played club at East Carolina Juniors Volleyball (ECJVC).
Pitt was recruited as a middle blocker to Radford University where she played for one season before transferring to North Carolina A&T where she played both middle blocker and opposite hitter with another Triangle alumnae, Samara Brown ’14. Pitt was a both a defensive and offensive weapon for the Aggies amassing over 500 kills and 164 blocks in her career. Pitt graduated NC A&T with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2019.
Pitt began coaching at NC Power, later joining the staff at ECJVC. She has diverse high school coaching experience serving as the head coach at her high school alma mater, Farmville Central (2019-2021), St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, LA (2022-2023) and boy’s at Triangle Math & Science Academy (2023). She is currently serving as the head varsity coach at Wakefield HS (girls). She has also coached club at Bayou Volleyball Club where she coached 17s for two seasons.
Pitt also currently works part-time for Lucky Dog volleyball (2017-present).
