Triangle Finishes First Travel Trip of 2015 Season
This past MLK Jr. weekend twenty-three (23) teams competed at the Monument City Classic in Richmond. This tournament weekend serves as an excellent ‘live competition’ teaching opportunity for our teams. Much was achieved and much more was learned by athletes, coaches, and even our fans.
We are thrilled with the overall performance of our teams and this first glimpse [for many of them] at their potential. There were exciting wins AND losses. We witnessed matches in which our teams battled showing courage and confidence when they were down. All in all it was a weekend well done.
Now for some results. The overall winning percentage for the club for the weekend was 65% [121-66]. Ninety percent (90%) of our teams finished in the top ten in their respective division and we saw competitive strength from Black to Steel.
