Three Open – One USA – First Boys Qualification ever
2021 was a record-breaking year for USAV qualifications for Triangle teams with 4 girls and 1 boys team qualifying for the prestigious USAV Junior National Championships. With five qualifications in total, Triangle leads all North Carolina clubs on earning bids at national qualifying events held throughout the season.Triangle 16U Boys achieved the first-ever USAV qualification for Triangle’s boys’ program. They won their USA division bid at the Boys’ Atlantic Northeastern Tournament in Manheim, PA They will compete for a national championship in Kansas City in late June.Triangle 16 Blue qualified in the USA division at Northeast Qualifier in Philadelphia. The are one of only two girl’s teams in North Carolina to qualify in the USA division.The most competitive division at USAV Junior Nationals is the Open division and Triangle had three (3) teams achieve that honor:15 Black at Big South Qualifier17 Black at Northeast Qualifier14 Black received an At-Large bid based on season performance against the Open field.
